Grassroots is asking for $600 to help a woman who had an accident and broke her leg -- a triple fracture -- and now can't work at her old job at Walmart. She has no health insurance and needs home health care, because her elderly husband can't provide the personal care she needs during her recovery period. The Office on Aging has attempted to access numerous resources to help her, without success, and she needs help now. This request is for $600 to provide 10 home health care visits for her.
