A woman who is currently homeless is in need of our help.

A year ago her son was murdered, which led to a breakdown and an inability to maintain her situation. She has struggled to obtain work and housing since then but has recently obtained a good job - though temporary - and is working through July 2009. She has found an apartment and needs to pay a security deposit which she does not have. Obtaining this apartment will stabilize her situation and give her an opportunity to find permanent employment. This woman is ready to get her life back together.

 

Grassroots is requesting $650 from the WGC's Response Network to help pay her security deposit.
