Women's Giving Circle Funds Scholarships For Women Taking Job-Related Classes
The WGC has granted $5,000 of its 2008 grants budget to Howard Community College to fund scholarships for women taking job-related classes.
"The ability to find employment and attain economic self sufficiency often depends upon education and job training, and that is why The Women's Giving Circle established a financial aid fund for women taking job-related classes at Howard Community College," says Buffy Beaudoin-Schwartz, Chair of the WGC Advisory Board.
