Family Holds Yard Sale for WGC!

Jeanne McCray became a donor to the WGC through the WGC's Circle Team at the Iron Girl Triathlon last year.  Interested in getting her seven year old daughter involved in giving, she decided to hold a yard sale this Spring and donate all the proceeds to the WGC.   They spent three weeks collecting items from friends and family.  Jeanne and her daughter recently sent a $325 donation to the WGC.

"I wanted to do something to involve my daughter in giving and wanted her to know that we don't need to have a lot of money to give. I thought this was a fun and meaningful way to do it and support the WGC.  My daughter was so involved, she was even encouraging the men who visited the yard sale to 'give money to women'!" said Jeanne.

The WGC thanks Jeanne and her daughter for their creativity and generosity!
