A Woman and Her Daughter Need Our Help - $600!
A woman and her 15 year old daughter need $600 to pay rent this month.
This woman is a loan officer who lost her job in February. She has been on unemployment while looking for another job and has saved $700 since then. She and her daughter have been staying with a friend whose lease is up and now they must move into a new apartment. The landlord is someone this woman knows and has waived an upfront security deposit.
This woman has called numerous agencies for help and is hearing that the usual sources of help have exhausted their funds for this year. She recently started a new job at another mortgage company and will be able to pay her monthly rent after this month.
