A Woman Needs Our Help - $1,000
The Domestic Violence Center of Howard County (DVC) is seeking $1,000 to pay for an attorney to assist a woman in a custody dispute with her spouse.
This woman was a client at the DVC last year but due to security reasons she had to be relocated and is now living at another shelter. Her spouse continues to challenge her in court, including fighting her for custody of their child.
Because the judge recently ordered that the child be assigned an attorney, this woman needs assistance to pay her share of fees. This woman is extremely hard working but does not have the funds to pay for the attorney.
