A woman in a shelter who fled NC to get away from her abuser after some very serious abuse and threats is in need of funds to get her car on the road. She is extremely motivated and has managed to get a job and her children enrolled in school and head start already. Very fortunately, she was able to get a car from Charity Cars - she just has to go to Rockville at this point to pick it up.

However, before she can pick it up, she has to go to the MVA to get it registered and get the tags to put on it. She does not have the funds to do this - and can't start her job until she gets the car.

This woman needs $228 to assist her to get the car on the road.
