Greetings!

We usually send newsletters every few months, but there are a few late breaking items we thought you'd like to know about, including upcoming events, new products and some additions to our team. (Then we'll return to our familiar cycle. In the meantime, keep your eye on our web site and blog.)

Upcoming events

Lean & Green and Energy Independence

Natural Logic is proud to sponsor the upcoming Lean and Green Summit in Boulder, CO July 17-18, 2008. Join us for a ground breaking event that applies the principles and practices of lean thinking to issues of sustainability.

Register with promo code "natlogic" and receive $100 off the standard registration fee.

And on very short notice, we'd like to invite you to a book signing party for S. David Freeman's new book, "Winning Our Energy Independence", in Sacramento on June 25. Dave has been an innovator in energy policy and practice for decades, running everything from the Tennessee Valley Authority and the Sacramento Municipal Utility District to the LA Department of Water and Power.

Dave's book is available on Amazon, and will be available at the event.

Please come! (And invite us to keynote your next conference -- but contact us soon, as we get booked far in advance.)

Just released on DVD

Sustainability Thought Leader Video
Sailing team - intense

Natural Logic CEO Gil Friend is one of the people featured in Naturally Successful, a new video just released by Arnold Creek Video. Here's the summary:

A new type of entrepreneur is changing industries and the world at the speed of business. Making a profit is essential, but their measures of success include the social, environmental and economic impacts. And these innovators see limitless opportunities in the challenges of the 21st century.

Naturally Successful features interviews with some of the country's top business consultants, who are inspiring entrepreneurs worldwide. They offer insights on building values-driven businesses, seizing opportunities in new and existing markets, and embracing a new type of capitalism.

Latest survey results

"Employees Want the Change"

In our March newsletter, we invited you to participate in a survey (conducted in collaboration with our friends at Fresh Marketing), looking at employees' roles in affecting the social and environmental policies and impacts of their companies.

The goal was to better understand how to get -- or how to enable -- employees and leaders to assess their current environmental, social and economic (ESE) performance and take effective action.

The survey results are in, and available for download (245k PDF). It's a thought-provoking report, relevant for anyone seeking to make sustainability relevant to their clients and communities.
