Greetings!
TGI Spring!
Technically Spring has arrived but Winter is definitely making a last ditch effort with snow, sleet, hail, thunder, lightening and record cold temps.Hopefully it's over for now so we can look forward to warm sunny skies for a few months.
In this issue, we have some Travel Tips and Specials, Free Workshops, the New Class & Dutch Springs Schedule, the return of the Mares/Dacor Regulator Trade-Up, Luggage Trade-In for a good cause, and more.
If you don't have a Caribbean trip planned real soon, late Spring/early Summer is great time of year for diving locally. Brush up your skills, take a class or find a dive buddy. It all gets you in the water diving...and that's what it's all about!
Best Wishes for Sunny Skies and Warm Water! Lyn |
| Travel Tips |
Jellyfish Squish Jellyfish almost all pack a nasty sting. This product immediately halts the sting with a topical anesthetic, then goes to work neutralizing venom in the nematocysts on the skin. Compact sprayer travels easily. Safe for all ages. Available on line now at www.jellyfishsquish.com or check in with us for the summer travel season.
Vinegar White, wine, or cider...doesn't matter. If you get sunburned a full strength spray will quiet the burn without touching the tender skin. Just remember to take a small spray bottle (maybe repurposed from some travel size product and thoroughly cleaned) with you and plan on buying the vinegar on any island.
Motion Sickness The site www.NoMoreMotionSickness.com offers a variety of well-tested remedies. Take your pick from electronic watches to ginger capsules. Everything listed works for someone, just need to find what works for you. |

Join Us April 3 at the Franklin Institute for
Da Vinci Exhibit and Wild Ocean-The Movie | |
We're taking a short road trip into Philadelphia to see these two events.
Da Vinci envisioned machines and devices hundreds of years before the materials to produce them would even be invented. Of particular interest to us as divers are his sketches of diving apparatus and submarines.
The 3D award winning film, Wild Ocean, takes place off the Coast of Africa and includes stunning underwater shots of whales and sharks in a thought-provoking documentary.
Discounted Group Tickets are $18.50 per person for both events. |
