Our finances are withering and we need your help...NOW!  What we have done financially this past year has been absolutely necessary to get the word out about the need for alimony reform.  We have spent down our account and now need more to continue to fight through this upcoming session.

  

If you want alimony reform in Florida, it's now time to contribute financially.  Even though the legislature is not in session, there is much happening.  Contacts are being made, strategic legislative donations are made, press releases, media generation, and legislative assistance is still needed during the "off season."  In fact, this is where the vast majority of the groundwork must take place.  If FAR does not have a solid backing with legislators who have an understanding of current Florida alimony law, meaningful reform will be extremely limited, if it is to occur at all.

 

The "off season" is spent developing relationships with those legislators who have the legislative power to make alimony reform in Florida a reality. The "off season" is also spent educating Florida citizens about our laws.  Advertising, handouts, billboards, Social Media, and local events all cost money.

 

If everyone receiving this email just contributes $10.00 a month, we believe that we will have enough funding to make major changes for 2013.  If not, it may take many more years.  It's up to you.  Do you want real reform?  Do you?  The lack of funding limits our capabilities to work for you.

 

If you are able to contribute more monthly, thank you.  Almost every FAR member can afford $10 a month, and a certain percentage more of FAR members could contribute several hundred dollars monthly without affecting their lifestyle. 

  

You decide what you can do, then commit and contribute.
