Over the past month, The Harris Foundation (THF) has continued its Dream Tour in New York City, Washington D.C. and San Antonio. We had the opportunity to encourage and motivate over 16,000 students to finish high school, continue onto college, and explore STEM careers.  Even as we wrap up the 2011 Dream Tour, we are preparing for our 2012 ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Summer Science Camps. You can read more about the application process below. Further, our 2011 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Community Health Leaders were announced.  Reading about their grassroots community work will leave you nothing short of inspired. Their work may remind of you of someone in your own community and we encourage you to nominate them for the 2012 award.

This month, we are especially thankful for all those who help THF to achieve our education, health and wealth missions. Together, we are truly making a difference. As Mel Schiavelli, President of the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology in Pennsylvania said in a recent U.S. News and World Report blog, "Providing the necessary human capital by revitalizing STEM education is a responsibility we all share." Thank you to our current partners and supporters for making our work possible.
