Dr. Harris Head Shot

Since our last newsletter, the foundation has continued to serve our constituents - students and their communities. We are finalizing the fall schedule for The DREAM Tour which will take us to New York City, Washington D.C., San Antonio and Dallas/Ft Worth. Preparation and recruitment for the ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Summer Science Camps are in full swing.

Also, we successfully launched the Educational Forum at the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) in San Francisco. RWJF Community Health Leaders selection has begun and applications are under review for the 2011 awardees.

In addition, I was honored to be interviewed on the nationally recognized and syndicated show "HistoryMakers", in front of a "live" studio audience. The show will air soon on PBS.  Lastly, the partnership between the FBI and our Dare to Dream program resulted in my receipt of the FBI Director's Community Leadership Award in Washington, DC.
