It's good to be home. Yvonne and I spent a few days in San Jose with our families as my mother is recovering from hip surgery. It's so important to make contact with family to let them know you love them. I'm the oldest of seven, so I had a lot of lovin' to share.

Our church family requires constant nurturing and love, too. You can't separate yourself from the body of Christ or you will suffer and the body suffers. Paul says in Romans 12:5, "So in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

I pray this year we will grow deeper in love with each other through Christ. The more we serve Jesus in our church and community, we will share struggles and joys together for the cause of Christ- but we will bond stronger in love. I want to see us labor harder this year in the Lord's work. When we do, our church will grow in numbers and love.

Please consider how you can be stretched this year to serve Jesus in our church. The Body of Christ needs you. Please get active in a Sunday morning class and a home fellowship. I am
