Greetings!

The Fall season has officially begun.  The pumpkins and red and orange decorations are everywhere. Taking advantage of all that Fall has to offer can be a most rewarding time of year, if you make time for it. This is a season unlike any other and can be an opportunity for you to create unique experiences.  See below a list of ideas to inspire you to take time out and have some fun.

Please forward this email to someone you believe may benefit from it's content.

From The Positive Perspective.......

I have never met someone who wished they worked more in life.  I do, however, frequently meet individuals of all stages of life who do regret not taking out more time to enjoy what is around them and creating fun memories with those they love.  Fall is a great time to do that.

Studies show that taking time out to have fun and setting aside a small part of each day to relax can be beneficial physically, mentally and psychologically. So, here are some fun ideas of things to do in the fall.  If you are one of those individuals who does wish they worked more in life, please give me a call....IMMEDIATELY !

**Find somewhere to take a drive on the weekend to see some fall foliage.  In Texas we are truly challenged to find that, but Arkansas has some beautiful sprawling foliage later in October.  The Ozark Mountains are breathtaking this time of year.

**Plan an outdoor picnic with a group of friends you haven't seen in a while. Meet at a local park or at someone's home that has a great backyard.  Make it an outdoor day with Bocce ball, horseshoes, long walks, great stories and some great fall beverages. My husband and I always add great music to any outdoor activity as well.

**Do a campout with your kids or nieces or nephews in the backyard.  It doesn't get too cold at night yet and you can always run inside if the "bears" from next door make an appearance.

**Carve a pumpkin.  There are great websites out there where you can print an image on paper, trace it onto the pumpkin and cut it out, or just design your own.  Roasted pumpkin seeds are a great treat this time of year as well.

**Invite a neighbor or relative who might be lonely to be a part of some of your fall activities.  Doing things together could lift both your spirits.  Or find a local charity that could use some help with their fall festivities and volunteer. I do my best to incorporate "giving" as a part of every season in our household.

**Experiment with new fall recipes in the kitchen.  How many ways can I make pumpkin exciting?  Try pumpkin pie, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin soup, pumpkin bread, etc.  Share recipes with others who enjoy this pastime.

**Plan a fall lunch party at work.  Have everyone bring in something to contribute and have lunch outdoors.  Taking a break in the middle of the day to re-energize and smell the crisp air works wonders for your afternoon productivity.

I hope I have given you some ideas for making fun a part of this season.  I welcome additional ideas if you have them.  Looking at any season, especially this one, can bring positive results with regards to your happiness and overall outlook if you look at it
