On October 26, 2012 Microsoft will launch it's latest Operating System Windows 8.  

Featuring its new Metro interface, this new OS is designed to create continuity with Windows new smartphone, tablet devices and XBox 360. It will incorporate touch screen capabilities for Touch screen monitors and all-in-one computers.

 

We are cautiously excited about Windows 8 and do have beta machines on display at our two conveniently located storefronts for you to come down and test it out. Like most new Operating Systems we are excited to play with the new features, but typically don't recommend to race out and purchase until its had a chance to work out the bugs.   

Most of us are familiar with the little pop-ups we get asking us to install updates.  While they only take a few minutes to complete, many of us are guilty of postponing them or just ignoring them completely. But keeping up with these computer updates is actually very important when it comes to having a healthy and secure computer. These updates are just as important as having an anti-virus program.
