MTG Helps Out Y.A.N.A.
YANA

Back in February, YANA held their annual charity auction dinner, and My Tech Guys was proud to support YANA by helping with some of their tech work and by processing all the Credit Card slips from the auction. And they netted over $60,000!!!!

YANA is a non-profit society providing financial assistance and housing to families from the Comox Valley whose children must be moved from the valley for medical care.  We are lucky to have such a great organization in the Comox Valley.  Several My Tech Guys staff have benefited form the support of YANA which has made us raving fans who are always looking for ways to help them out.

Thanks YANA!!!!

2. When requesting people update your email address, always include your OLD email address so they can quickly find the old address in their system.

Comox Store Gets an Extreme Makeover

Wells Twins

Its now been over 5 years since we opened our original store in Comox, located on the corner of Comox Ave and Church St. and local support has been tremendous. Last fall a major windstorm tore our awnings off the building leaving bits of the frame looking like an old skeleton.

Fast forward a few months and we are proud to announce our new awnings are up. "We had been planning to replace the old awnings since we moved in but it kept getting pushed down the list of priorities. They came with the building when we moved in and since they were made out of chloroplast they were not meant to last long - it was amazing they lasted 5 years!" says owner Bob Wells.

But keeping up with these computer updates is actually very important when it comes to having a healthy computer. Here is a look at why computer updates are so important.
