Comox Valley Child Development Association Telethon
|

My Tech Guys is proud to be partnering with CVCDC and Shaw to stream the Telethon on the Internet for the first time in its history. This means that people from around the world will be able to watch, donate and support CVCDC.
This year is the 35th anniversary of the Comox Valley Child Development Association's Telethon that is telecast locally by Shaw TV. CVCDA is excited to announce that this year they will be streaming the Telethon live on the Internet. Bob Wells, co-owner of My Tech Guys, has been working hard for the past month to work out any bugs in the system so they are prepared to go Live TODAY, Sunday, November 7 from noon till 8pm Pacific Standard Time. Remember Daylight Savings will make your clock "Fall" back an hour so make sure you have updated the time on all your clocks.
"It's pretty exciting to see the convergence of TV and Internet for ou local Telethon. Being able to provide this service for such a great organization as the CVCDA is a tremendous privilege" says Bob. " CVCDA has done so much for my kids over the past few years seeing speech therapists, Occupational Therapists and other specialists to assist them in their development." Bob's 3 1/2 year old twins were born premature with his daughter having a cleft palate making feeding and speech more difficult.
