The Literacy Council of Montgomery County, Maryland, Inc. (LCMC) is a
501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1963. Our mission is to
help adults living or working in the county who want to achieve
functional levels of reading, writing, and speaking English so that they
may improve the quality of their life and their ability to participate
in the community.
