Greetings!
Christmas Joy

Welcome to the Christmas 2010 and New Year 2011 edition of my Style Success Newsletter.

Looking back over the past year I'm happy to say that even though it has been a year of transition for many of us, there have been many successes sprinkled in amongst our challenges.  I wonder how many of us have expressed our gratitude for all the wonderful things in our lives and  how many of us were mindful of each special moment when we were blessed?

Each year we go through our routine of New Year's resolutions and each year, after a few months (or a few weeks!) our resolutions seem to fall by the wayside.  What's going to be different this year?  Let's make our resolutions timely, specific and realistic GOALS for the coming year.  In this newsletter we'll discuss how to  identify what you are tolerating in your life and commit to doing something about it - you can download a practical exercise to set you on your way.  We will also ensure that you believe in yourself and allow yourself to be successful.  And finally, my gift to you, a Mantra to live by and keep in mind always to ensure you lead a fulfilling personal and professional life.

Continue to be inspired to live a life filled with meaning and clear direction.  Be empowered to achieve your personal and professional goals.  If you are at a cross road in your life regarding your career, relationships or personal direction here is where you may find the answer.  Enjoy!
What Are You Tolerating in Your Life?

The Tolerations exercise is one that I frequently use when starting in a coaching relationship with clients.  It enables us to get rid of 'stuff' in order to move forward in our lives.  Without even realising it, as we go through life we learn to tolerate so much.  Do you put up with or accept, let yourself get dragged down by other people's behavior, unsatisfying situations, unmet needs, crossed boundaries, unfinished business, frustrations, problems, and even your own behavior?

I have a feeling that you are tolerating more than you think. So what are those tolerations?  Before the New Year arrives, take a few
minutes to write down all the stuff that you are tolerating.  Do you have to do anything about them? Only when you are ready. Just becoming aware of and articulating them will create an awareness and, in time, a sense of urgency to do something about them.  You will naturally start handling, eliminating, fixing, growing through, and resolving these tolerations.  With each resolution you will free your energy to devote to what is truly important to YOU. What a wonderful thing to look forward to in the New Year!

Let me know how you are handling them - it's all part of personal growth!  Download the Tolerations Worksheet here.

You Can Do It!
Happy businessman

Thinking over the past 12 months, do you feel invigorated, motivated and proud of what you have achieved?  Did you achieve the goals you set for yourself or are you getting close to those desired results?

If not, what's happened?   Or, more to the point, what's not happened?

Did you avoid tackling what needed to be done because it felt tough?  Did you pretend that what you wanted to achieve was not really that important after all?  Was it easier to simply not do the 'Tough Stuff" because you felt "I don't want to" or "I don't really feel like it right now" self talk in your head?  Read More ...
