2011 Blues Bash PosterThe annual February Blues Bash has grown into a favourite way to beat the mid-winter blahs with exceptional live music and a festive atmosphere.

 

In 2011, this "must attend" event will take place on Saturday, February 12 at the Best Western Plus Orangeville Inn & Suites.

 

It will feature a silent auction with many great items up for bid, dancing, and live performances by Café Ole with guest artist Ryan Grist and by Larry Kurtz of Trouble & Strife with special guests Chris Whiteley & Diana Braithwaite.

Doors open at 6:30PM.


Tickets are $30 in advance - available at the Festival Office and at BookLore - or $35 at the door

This highly anticipated event is always a fantastic experience and it regularly sells out. Therefore, you are strongly encouraged to get your tickets early.

Maple Blues AwardsNow in its 25th year, The Toronto Blues Society is a non profit membership organization
dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the Blues.

The 2011 Maple Blues Awards took place at Koerner Hall on Monday, January 17th. Now in its 14th year, this event is Canada's national blues awards program. Its goal is to promote blues music across Canada, and to recognize outstanding achievement in the field.
