Greetings!

"The Instrument of

the Immortals"

Did you know that Steinway & Sons is an American company, founded in Manhattan, New York, U.S.A. in 1853?  And that all 12,116 parts in each piano are still made entirely by Steinway and assembled by hand today in Queens?

"B" is for Brilliant!

An historical first, the beloved Steinway model "B" finished in glorious high-gloss polished black.

Hi Gloss B
New high-gloss model 'B'

Traditionalists love the classic matte-black finish that has been popular since WWI.  However, the demand from a growing number of musicians and amateur music-lovers has been strong enough to inspire Steinway & Sons N.Y. to add this gleaming mirror-like finish as an option on all six grand piano models.  We have the first one in San Diego - come by to try it out !
