Welcome to the October newsletter! This one is yet again full of helpful information on upcoming events, when we'll be closed for the holidays and so much more! Plus, check out our super secret website given to us by the folks at the north pole! Happy Halloween!!!

| Spooky Kooky Halloween Party |  | Don't forget about our party and sleep over next weekend, October 29th! The party is from 7:00 - 9:30pm and the sleep over will follow and end at 8:30am on Saturday. The deadline to sign up for this event is Thursday, October 28th. Get your RSVP in fast! Spots are filling quickly!

| Dress Up Week |  |
It is a tradition at Sapphire to dress up the entire week of Halloween and we would like to invite you to join us. Our coaches love to dress up the week leading up to Halloween and enjoy all the company they can get in doing so. Come in your favorite costume and see if you can out do your coach! Keep in mind that costumes need to be appropriate for a gymnastics class, IE: no very loose fitting clothing, no masks that make it hard to see, hair must still be pulled back, no jewelry, etc. Hopefully you will encourage your children to come have a fun time in their last class before Halloween!! |

| Thanksgiving Day Camp |  |
On Wednesday, November 24th we will be conducting a day camp. This camp will run from 8:30am until 5:00pm. It's up to you if you would rather have your child stay a half or full day. You have the option of 8:30am - Noon or 8:30am until 5:00pm. Don't miss out on this fun event that will have your kids eagar to attend, excited while they attend, and wore out after they attend!

| Harvest Hoedown |  | |
Get ready for the first meet of the season hosted by Sapphire! The Harvest Hoedown will take place on Saturday, November 6th and on Sunday, November 7th. Our talented team gymnasts will host gyms throughout Iowa and Nebraska at Orange Planet in Pleasant Hill. Sessions start at 8:30am and will run until roughly 9:30pm. Come out and support our little rockstars and the sport of gymnastics. Adult admission is $6, Children 5+ will be charged $5 and programs are $2. Can't wait to see you all there! |

| Holiday Closing Dates |  | |
We will be closed Thursday, November 25th, in observation of Thanksgiving.
We will also be closed Wednesday, December 22nd and will resume classes on Monday, January 3rd for winter break.
During winter break we will not have regular classes but we will have day camps available. |

| Santa At Sapphire |  |
After spending several weeks waiting for the head elf to reply to my email asking when Santa will be making an appearance at Sapphire, I have received little information. The head elf informed me that Santa is very busy and will let us know closer to appearance time when exactly he will be here. He did, however email me the super secret link to a website that tracks Santa's sleigh. www.noradsanta.org will be up and running on December first. |

GET READY FOR...
Starting Monday, November 1st, we will be offering a Zumba class! Every Monday night from 7:30 - 8:30pm Lizzie Boehm will be teaching an adult Zumba fitness class. This is a fun and effective way to shed some unwanted pounds, tone up your body and have a great time doing it. This donation only class will be in the dance room and yes... we will turn off the cameras for this one. Feel free to join Lizzie and a group of 18 and older, fun-loving adults. |
