Sapphire Gymnastics Academy News
May 2010
Greetings!

Welcome to the May newsletter. There are a few very important things we would like to remind you of.  As we go into the summer session, which begins on June 7th, we would like to say a special thank you to all of our parents who have allowed us to teach your child over the past school year! We look forward, every day, to this opportunity and do not take it lightly that you chose us to spend that time with your precious gem! We can't wait to get the summer session rolling and have a blast with your kids over the next few months! Thanks again, parents! We couldn't do it without you!

Sapphire's 5th Birthday!
Come help us celebrate!

Five years ago, Sapphire Gymnastics Academy came into existence. Carla Edwards and Megan Robinson wanted to open a gymnastics facility that was one hundred percent geared toward the child. From the beginning they have focused on how precious and important the children who walk through our doors are. Five years later, they have done a wonderful job of keeping that integrity and sharing it with a staff who is just as passionate about children. Some of our families have been with us since the beginning and we greatly appreciate that! All of our families are important to us and we would like to show it. On Friday, June 4th, we will be hosting an anniversary party for all of our customers as a thank-you for your business and support over the years. There will be plenty of food, music, games, inflatables and so much more at no cost to you! Come join us from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, June 4th. We sincerely hope to see you there!!!

Spring Fling Success!
The Spring Fling, which took place two weeks ago in Urbandale and this past weekend in Des Moines, was a blast! The children enjoyed performing for the crowd and the crowd seemed to enjoy it too. A big thank you to everyone who made it possible! This includes the children themselves, the parents, staff, booster club and fans of these young gymnasts.
Summer Session

Now is the time to be signing up for your spot in the summer session if you haven't already. Here are some things you need to be aware of. First of all, The summer session will begin on June 7th, after our memorial day break. Second, the kids that are signed up for summer get to learn a special floor routine. Why? Because they will be competing against other gyms in Iowa at the State Fair! Third, if you have decided summer gymnastics just won't work with your schedule, you do not have to fill out a withdraw slip. Simply, finish your school year session and call us when you're ready to re-register for next fall. You will not be billed for the summer session unless you sign up for it. Also, the fall schedule is already available so don't hesitate to start thinking about what class your child will be ready for in the fall. Current students will be able to register for fall starting May 24th. Fall classes will begin on Monday, August 16th. The fall schedule will be on the website very soon so keep your eyes open!
DON'T FORGET...
