| Greetings! |
Welcome to the May/June Newsletter. As the nights become longer we are reminded that night is a time of dream, vision and a wonderful journey into the depths of oneself, the darkness of unknown possibility. For anyone that came to the MBS in Sydney - I was privileged to be at the Blue Angel Publishing stand with Toni and Martine. I enjoyed talking to people about "The Mystical Tree" and as always, whenever I listen and talk I learn something different about myself. This time I really had it hammered home to me about receiving - like a lot of us I am comfortable with giving, however the cycle is broken when I don't allow myself to receive. I realised life is about finding balance in all things - as allowing myself to receive, illuminates the gifts and beauty of what I give to others. Toni Carmine Salerno's original artwork will be arriving next week. Once they arrive I will organise an official opening - look out for your invitation in the next month. My Numerology teacher Judi was also at the MBS and I would love her to teach a class and maybe do some readings at "The Mystical Tree" below is a short article on Numerology. | Numerology |
Numbers are symbols, they don't make things happen, instead, they announce and broadcast the programs of thought, feeling and action being enacted in relationship to everything.
Each number has it's own energy and when we understand the feeling and meaning of this energy, we may start to understand others and ourselves from a deeper perspective.
Numerology has been around since the earliest recorded history and we owe the Greeks and Hebrews for the roots of the modern version we use today.
Pythagoras, the Greek mathematician and philosopher (approx. 580 BC) is the main source for modern numerology. He held the belief that anything in the Universe could be reduced to a mathematical equation and then further reduced to a single digit. When expressed as a number he felt we would better understand the deeper meaning.
Basic Number Meanings
1 - Leadership, beginnings, initiation, independence
2 - Companionship, seeks to follow, co-operation, harmony, balance, intuition
3 - Artistic, friendly, creative in the moment, social, communication
4 - Dependable, foundations, dedication, practical
5 - Variety, change, freedom, imagination
6 - Responsibility, love, family, balance, loyalty
7 - Learning, analysis, reflection, healing, mystical
8 - Confident, vision, power, karma, destiny
9 - Knowledge, artistic, completion, concern for others, endings
0 - the circle (cipher) time-less awareness, patience, waiting
11- Visionary, inspiration, ahead of times
22- powerful, forceful, business, master builder
33- Love, love of life, unconditional love for all. Child like trust and actions.
How to work out your Life Path Number
This number contains the life lessons we have incarnated this life to learn. This helps us to see the path we need to take and the roles we must play to fulfil our mission/contract. We may not always welcome our life lessons, so it may be possible to feel an aversion to people/situations that may reflect the characteristics of the life path number back to us.
The sum if the day, month and year of a birth date, reduced to a single digit. NOTE: 11 & 22, 33 are considered master numbers and are not further reduced.
Eg; birth date 11-11-1965
1+1+1+1+1+9+6+5=25
2+5=7
The birth date 11-11-1965 reduces to a single digit of 7 and this is the life path.

| Meditation |
Night is a time of dream, vision and journey into the depths of oneself, the darkness of unknown possibility. From that journey into the dark new life as well as new light emerges.
It is a time for feeling your way in the dark. In the dark you have to feel your way. You can't see where you are going. You have to trust your senses, your intuition.
This meditation helps you connect to your intuition through the star in you heart.
One evening, turn out the lights, light a candle, and meditate quietly for a while with the candle, and then blow it out. Sit for a while in the dark. Notice what arises. Is there a fear of the dark? Does it feel peaceful, relaxing? Ask the dark to guide you. People are fond of asking the light to guide them. But there is guidance in the depth of the night, in the darkness of the night sky.
Imagine the night sky. Imagine one star coming closer and closer and closer to you, until it enters your heart. Feel that star in the heart . It is radiant. Its bright white light permeates your being, pulsating within you. Feel yourself as a star in the sky, the darkness around you, the light within you, the energy that radiates from you.
You, from your heart, by simply being, illuminates the darkness. That radiance guides you and illuminates the path for others. Light the candle again. Notice the shadows, the interplay of light and dark. You are participating always in that dance of light and dark, day and night, sun and moon and star and sky, the dance of the seasons, autumn, winter, spring, summer. Feel the rhythm of the flickering light, the stillness of the darkness. Feel the radiance of your own heart illuminating the night, guiding you as you feel your way through the labyrinth of this life, this world, this universe.
