Welcome to Spring,
(I hope)
Thanks to all of you who helped the P2P Programs and families advocate with legislators and the Governor for continued DDD funding of programs. She signed the budget yesterday
and we received the same amount of funding as last year. YAHOOOOO!!! no cuts.
Thank you for your support. Also, thank you to Department of Health/CSHCN for their continued
funding this next year. We really value your commitment to the family voice, access and coordinated care.
And Thank You to all the P2P Coordinators and Peer Mentor "Helping Parents" who again this year have done a fantastic job assisting families in our state. I hear about your great work everywhere I travel and I am currently at the Infant and Early Childhood Conference and many people - professionals and parents - have stopped to tell me to thank you for "being there to help"! You are all wonderful.
