Beginners ABC's -- To teach Beginners more effectively (& with more retention), we have added one more month to our Beginners program. We now list Beginners A,B & C classes. This is a total of 12 weeks of Beginner class to encourage the muscle memory a beginning dancer needs to become a competent & comfortable dancer. NOTE: each class contains new material

For the months of August and September our FIRST SATURDAY SOCIAL DANCES have had party themes. We would like to thank several people for the great props they brought for the dances: Bernie Van (Bernie Vaninsky) for his fantastic surfboard, Patti Drewry for her great beach umbrella and props and Maxine Fountain for her fantastic vintage hat collection and models.
And a huge thanks to Maxine for her creative efforts in the kitchen!

We welcome Wayne Herendeen as the new owner of Tatyana's Ballroom Studio. As of September 1 the new studio name has become Beaverton Ballroom, underneath the umbrella of Wayne's DanceFit Oregon West, business name. Wayne also owns Ballroom Parkrose on the east side of Portland.
Not to worry, the westside studio will remain a cooperative studio with multiple businesses operating... and will continue to be home of DanceWell Ballroom. Our usual class schedules and parties will continue. Check out some of the changes at the studio at our next Friday or Saturday party!
I believe there will be a Grand Opening celebration in the near future as well. Welcome Wayne and Evelyn!

DanceWell Ballroom Instruction is a separate entity in the Tatyana Studio building in Beaverton.
From Hwy.26 take Hwy. 217 south to Allen Blvd. Turn left and go 1/4 mile (East toward Portland). Allen Blvd. at Sunshine Ct. (1 block east of Arctic Drive and 1 block west of Scholls Ferry Rd) NorthWest corner.

Linda Springstead, owner and operator of DanceWell, has been a premier instructor in the Portland area for more than 23 years. She has been instrumental in providing good form and technique for social dancers of PDX and is known for her lively and fun classes and lessons for both the Beginning and Advanced student. Rick Davis, a fairly new instructor, is also a clear and fun instructor.
