New student athletic ticket distribution system
Beginning in fall 2012, student athletic tickets will be accessed on the Carolina Card and will be distributed using Ticketmaster. Current students received an email in April with complete information about the new system, but please review these details with your son or daughter and encourage him/her to follow the process to register for a season football ticket, if he/she is interested in attending football games this fall.
How the system works USC students who wish to obtain a season football ticket must request a student season football ticket by July 10 at noon. Students must be registered for fall semester classes to make this request. To request a ticket, students should click here and follow the prompts until they receive a confirmation page. They should not sign out of the account or close the browser until receiving a confirmation.
If requests for season tickets exceed the allotment, the Gamecock Ticket Office will administer the lottery the week after the deadline, and all students who registered for the lottery will be notified of their lottery status via their USC email account. (The weighted student lottery is based on loyalty points. Students are weighed by class standing and loyalty points and then selected from the pool of registered students. Points are those that each student has accumulated attending USC sporting events during the previous year.)
Students are encouraged to check their USC email account during the week of July 16 to find out their status for football season. Students who are not selected to receive a season football ticket will get information about using the Student TicketExchange to receive student football tickets each week.
During the week of each home game, tickets must be transferred to the Carolina Card by Thursday at 5 p.m. If the ticket is not transferred by the deadline, it will be available on a first come, first served basis on the student ticketing donation page (Student TicketExchange) for students who did not receive a season ticket to access.
