Ms. Moore-Pastides and Cocky's Reading Express
Dear Carolina parent,

The end of the semester is quickly approaching! This Friday, Dec. 3, is the last day of classes, and exams start on Monday, Dec. 6. December commencement will be held on Monday, Dec. 13.

Now is the time to talk with your student to establish plans for his or her trip home for winter break. When students return home for the break, they may have anxiety about losing their independence and may be concerned about adjusting to life under their parents' roof again. We encourage you to have a discussion with your student ahead of time about your expectations while he or she is living at home.

The Office of Parents Programs will remain open through Wednesday, Dec. 22 at 5 p.m. We will close briefly for the holidays and will re-open on Tuesday, Jan. 4 at 8:30 a.m. If you need immediate assistance during these University holidays, please contact the police department at 803-777-4215.

Have a wonderful holiday season!
