Golden Valley Electric Association (GVEA) recently decided to apply for a Rural Economic Development Grant of $300,000 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). The grant will be used by GVEA to establish a revolving economic development loan fund in Fairbanks.

Co-op Market will be the FIRS
T recipient of a loan from this grant if the USDA funds are awarded. The application is to be submitted to USDA this quarter.

Please join us in expressing our gratitude to GVEA for supporting our Co-op.  Read the full story here.
