Founding Members - We Need You 

If you are receiving this you are either a "founding member" of Co-op Market or you have been making your membership investment on a payment plan!    

Many of you are among the original group to envision a community grocery store in Fairbanks. You may remember the passion that Dave Lacey, our founder, put in to this project.  

Wouldn't Dave be pleased to see how far we have come?!  

 And we have come a long way, with over $300,000 in Member Loan pledges and nearly $122,000 in Membership Equity funds.

We are almost half way to accumulating the total project cost. The rest will come from outside financing.

To get good financing we need to prove that we have community support.  

They are asking us to show them that we have member investment. Indeed we do. We have 1040 members. 570 have made their complete investment of $200.  

470 members have paid either $10 or are on a quarterly budget plan.   

Our goal is to have 1500 members before opening. That is 460 more members. 

Our mini goal for March is to see 100 founding members complete their investment. If you can do so, please make another payment toward your membership this month.  

This is real! On July 1 we could be starting renovation. In part, that depends on you.
