First, the good news! We have reached our Phase 1 goal with 501 fully paid members of today, September 23, 2010.

The second annual Harvest Fair and annual meeting was a success! The lovely weather brought out nearly 300 people throughout the day. The annual meeting went smoothly and many stayed after to share a meal of local food. Thanks to Susan and Tom of Calypso Farm for donating the vegetables.

New board members were elected. Our new board members are Colin Craven, Sandra Trumbower, and Catherine Whitney.

Our next event is the 3rd annual Dessert Auction. The theme this year will be "Food and Fun in the Land of the Midnight Sun - It's Not Just for Desserts Anymore"!

We are looking for donations with the food and/or Alaska travel theme for our live auction. Of course, we plan another fine offering of desserts for the holidays. Please contact Caleb if you can donate.
