Join our Outreach Committee for a Summer Supper
A food co-op in Fairbanks. That is our dream. Behind the scenes a few passionate people are hard at work creating our food co-op. Our finance committee is meeting weekly to complete the business plan and prepare to seek financing as early as July. The product selection committee has taken on setting up a "Box Order" program while we wait to open our food co-op. Meanwhile our website committee is steadily working to create a more user friendly website.
Already we have 443 fully paid members, nearly 1000 budget members and over $85,000 in the bank.
The more people who get involved in small ways the sooner we will make this dream a reality. Join our outreach committee this Tuesday, June 8 for a summer supper and short meeting. Bring a friend and a dish to 2371 Hawthorne Ct. at 6 pm. Meeting will start between 6:30 and 7 pm. Call 347-4463 for more information.
