Greetings!
Reason number one to attend the Flapjack Fest this Sunday, March 28 at the JP Jones Community Development Center from 10 am to 2 pm is to join in the conversation about how we are progressing toward the development of a community owned natural foods grocery store and to share your thoughts.
Number two, to enjoy a feast of freshly ground whole wheat pancakes and other good food cooked up by the talented, Helen McClean.
And thirdly, to experience the fresh, original, exhilarating music of an energetic three piece band known as the Xtra-Tuffs.
The Xtra-Tuffs, Emily Anderson, Ryan Bowers and Sabe Herreid Flores bill themselves as "different from the rest". I might add that they are a genre by themselves.
If you haven't heard them click here for a preview.
