Greetings!
Building a food co-op is no small task. It will take the work of many hands to build a good basic grocery store that we can all feel good about shopping in because we own a piece of it.
It will take ideas and inspiration, some hard work, many gatherings of committed individuals, and dedication to continue the momentum until we see a completed grocery store.
Our newly elected board is currently working hard to put together the pieces of the puzzle to present a good business plan to banks this November.
You can participate in this process if you like.
To build communication, Fairbanks Community Cooperative Market is presenting a "breakfast series" so that members can gather, learn more about their food co-op and exchange ideas.
Come to our first breakfast next week:
Organic Pancake Feed featuring Alaskan berries
11am to 2 pm Sunday, October 4 Ken Kunkel Community Center 2645 Goldstream Road
$10 for adults $7 for children12 and under Free for children 5 and under
The purpose of this breakfast series is to exchange information and ideas, as well as raise funds.
View our power point presentation and visit with the board members.
