Mass 2-1-1 Handles Over 6,000 H1N1 Calls
As the H1N1 & seasonal flu continues to hit Massachusetts, more and more people have questions. Now people are turning to the 2-1-1 hotline to get up-to-date information on the virus. There have been over 6000 calls to Mass 2-1-1 related to flu since July.
The Department of Public Health (DPH) has trained all Mass 2-1-1 specialists to provide info on vaccine availability and safety, flu symptoms, school and employer questions related to school closing and handling sick employees, and H1N1 testing.

| Keystone Club, Making a Difference for Members at Boys & Girls Club |
Congratulations to the members of the Keystone program at the Framingham Boys & Girls Club Clubhouse, members of the United Way of Tri-County Youth Venture Team, called Keystone Café. Awarded a $1,000 United Way Youth Venture grant, the Keystone members plan to start a café at the clubhouse to provide the clubhouse members and staff healthy nutritious food at an affordable price. | United Way Makes the Season Bright |
The Holiday Gift Giving Program has been a hallmark program for more than a decade and continues to bring people together. With the help of community members, we were able to provide over $60,000 worth of gifts to 1,450 families & individuals in need.
