We have so much recent news and information to share with you. Below are just some of the highlights. Our in-depth hardcopy newsletter will be mailed shortly. Animal News
- We helped over 360 animals at the Shelter in 2009! More than 100 were reunited with their families; 260 were adopted into loving homes by folks from a total of 57 towns.
- There are many fabulous animals at the Shelter right now... gorgeous cats and lovable dogs, many of which are purebreds. All are waiting for a loving home. Visit our website or www.petfinder.com to see if one of these pets might be right for you.
- Spring is almost here which means... kitten season! Please call the Shelter (781) 544-4533 if you are interested in learning more about becoming a Foster Family.
Events
- Rabies Clinic April 3 at the Shelter. $10/vaccination. Cats: 9am-10:30 - must be in carriers; Dogs 10:30-12 must be on leash. More info (781) 545-8709.
- BIG Yard Sale April 10-11! Spring cleaning "treasures" cluttering your space? The Shelter is graciously accepting saleable items* to be sold at our Annual Yard Sale, one of the South Shore's largest yard sales. Drop off your donations on the following days: Wednesdays: March 24 & 31 from 6-8 pm, Saturdays: March 27 & April 3 from 10am-2, and Sunday March 28 from 11am-2. Drop off and the SALE are held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 234 Route 3A, Scituate. *We can not accept clothing, television sets, exercise/ski/computer equipment or large furniture.

Photo Contest
- 2011 Paw Prints Calendar Photo Contest ends in less than one month! Submit your adorable pet(s) photos for the 2011 Calendar - a full-color, professionally designed keepsake. Up to 275 pet photos will be displayed, and we're looking for one special photo to be on the cover. Deadline for submitting your photos is April 15.
