February 2012

Greetings,
Mark Munoz

Your Ad Club has been busy developing events to add to the calendars of our members and community. I wanted to take this time to fill you in on some of the many club happenings.

February Networking
Be sure to drop by our first networking event of the year, Thursday, February 23 at Fez! You don't have to be a member to attend, and it's free. Shake it up with the movers and shakers of the advertising community at AAF Metro Phoenix's Bi-monthly Member Mixer Happy Hour

The 27th Annual ADDY Awards Gala
The 2012 Awards Gala will be March 10th at the Duce, Phoenix. We're doing things differently this year and having the event in a cool, hip location-- not another hotel ballroom. So, come help us celebrate the awesome creative talent in our local market. This will be an opportunity for the ad community to get together, give credit where credit is due, see colleagues that we don't always get to see and have lots of fun.
For more information and to get your tickets, click here.

The AD2 Phoenix ADDY Awards After-Party
After the ADDY Awards, stick around the Duce for the annual AD2 After-Party. The after-party is always lots of fun, gives more time to celebrate those big wins and hang out with friends.

Creative Director of the Year Award
The 2nd annual award will acknowledge those awesome creative directors who've demonstrated outstanding creative leadership here in the valley. You know who we want, those beacons of light in a dark and uncreative world--leading the team, working the hours, sweating the somewhat out of fashion cologne sweat that most of us wear. Be sure to submit your nominations before the February 17th deadline.
To submit a nomination, click here.

AD2 Phoenix AD 2sday Event
AD 2sday is a monthly event for networking, education and fun.

Our programs committee is preparing some great events for the rest of the year. There will be something for everyone. Along with our flagship events, we're increasing networking and educational opportunities. We also have some great new partnerships that will benefit our members and industry-related organizations.

Speaking of our programs committee, we're happy to announce the addition of Kyle Hanlon to our Board of Directors. Kyle joins the board as Program Committee Co-chair; his experience in the industry is a great addition to the team.

I look forward to seeing you at our Member Mixer Happy Hour and ADDYs Gala. If there is an event or program that you'd like to see, please be sure to share your ideas. Also, check out our calendar for more information and updates.

Best,

Mark Anthony Munoz
