Ashtanga Vinyasa Practice with an Intro into Ayurveda

Ayurveda is the most ancient science of healing known to man. Its roots are in the hearts of the enlightened and with their clear inner vision they could perceive reality in its purest form and thus was born this Veda (science) of Ayu (life).  Yoga and Ayurveda are two practices to help us maintain a union of body, mind, and spirit. This union erases stress and fatigue and gives an experience of freedom and rejuvenation.

Ashtanga Vinyasa is can be studied noting the qualities ofVata (air element), Pita (fire element) and Kapha (earth element).  Utilizing their oppositional forces in Ashtanga Vinyasa, this system can create grounded stability and joy.  The aim of Ayurveda is to integrate and balance the body, mind, and spirit. This is believed to help prevent illness and promote wellness.

Join for this workshop which will be in two sessions, first with a practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa with Ayurvedic techniques for grounding and reaping essence of Prana followed up with an introduction to Ayurveda for Ashtanga Vinyasa practitioners.
