In conjunction with The Office exhibition on view in the Main Gallery, we are proud to partner with Career Closet to collect donations of your gently-used business-appropriate clothing for women.  It's easy to donate and your overflowing closets will thank you!

1. Get a box or big plastic bag, or two, or three.
2. Open your closets and take a big, deep cleansing breath.
3. Pull out your gently-used women's business attire that you no longer wear, including: clothing, shoes and accessories. Drop items in the boxes/bags and load it all into your car.
4. Bring your generous career clothing donation to the ICA during our regular gallery hours from Friday, May 4th* through Saturday, June 2nd.

Then, stay and visit The Office exhibition. This popular show features work by 11 artists who examine, deconstruct, rearrange and critique contemporary office culture. Read a review here.

* The ICA is open 10am - 10pm on May 4th during the First Friday Gallery Walk.

The ICA is also accepting Career Closet donations in the gallery during ArtHouse on Saturday, May 12 from 10am - 4pm.  ArtHouse is a free art and art-making bock party being presented by arts organizations in downtown San Jose's SoFA arts District, including: Higher Fire ClaySpace, the San Jose ICA, MACLA, The San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles, and The Stage Theatre. Get ArtHouse event details.

Friends, thank you in advance for your generous donation of time and attire for this very worthy cause.  Please forward this invitation to your friends and office peeps and help spread the word and the wealth!
