Artist Bookmaking:
Explore basic bookmaking through folded and sewn structures and book-binding techniques. Learn how to make your own sketchbook, journal or artist book. No experience necessary! June 6 & 13, Saturdays, 10:00 - 4:30, $300, Instructor: Victoria May

Monoprint with Drypoint
: Learn monotype printing using cardboard & carborundum matrices, multiple drop printing, layering, drypoint, chine collé & stencils. All levels welcome! June 15 - 19, Monday - Friday, 10:00 - 4:30, $550, Instructor: Jenny Robinson
 
Drawing for Printmakers: Explore various drawing methods as they apply to the printmaking process. This workshop is great for non-printmakers too! June 20 & 21, Sat & Sun, 10:00 - 4:30, $300, Instructor: Christine Canepa
 
Photopolymer Intaglio: A long weekend course to this innovative non-toxic intaglio process. All levels welcome. June 26 - 29, Friday - Monday, 10:00 - 4:30, $500, Instructor: Fanny Retsek

Xerox Matrix Planography: Experiment with this low-tech print process using a Xerox copy as a one-time print matrix with monotype or produce an edition. All levels welcome. July 24, 25 & 26, Friday - Sunday, 10:00 - 4:30, $400, Instructor: Kim Fink
 
Collagraph: This fun technique combines intaglio printing methods with collage to build images and textures on plates. All levels welcome. August 1 & 8, Saturdays, 10:00 - 4:30, $300, Instructor: Robynn Smith
 
Digital Collage into Photopolymer Intaglio: Fuse digital printmaking techiniques with intaglio printing of plates made from your own collage! All levels welcome. August 10 - 14, Monday - Friday, 10:00 - 4:30,$600, Instructors: Janet Fine and Fanny Retsek

Mixed Media Prints: Explore non-toxic monotype techniques such as sugarlift on plexiglass, carborandum etching, acrylic aquatint, monotype, chine colle, and pastels. All levels welcome. August 29 & 30, Sat & Sun, 10:00 - 4:30, $300, Instructor: Evelyn Klein

This is our annual print exhibition and fundraising auction featuring the work of the best printmakers in the Bay Area. The exhibition runs from July 1st to July 18th at the ICA and culminates with a silent auction on the evening of July 18th.
