Over the past six months, the Lord has been teaching me to wait on Him and
His timing. Over the past four years I've had the opportunity to live in multiple
countries doing missions and mission training schools. Growing up in a family where my dad would take a team of people to go work in a village in Thailand every year gave me a heart to live out Mark 16:15.

"Go to the nations and preach the good news of Jesus Christ".

I am currently in the process of starting a nonprofit ministry call Tunnel Vision. Tunnel Vision will be a documentary ministry that focuses primarily on missionaries. My team and I will travel to the place missionaries are located and spend a couple weeks to a month documenting what they do. We will then produce a DVD that they can send to their supporters and home church to show the impact they are having on peoples lives. This DVD will also help missionaries when prospective supporters are asking about their ministry.

I know in my heart that the Lord is calling me to other nations; documenting what other Christians are doing around the world both with video and photography. I so badly want to pack up and get on a plane today, but the Lord has me in this growing stage. The Lord has been teaching me that His timing is truly perfect.

I got to talk to a pastor friend over Christmas break, and he told me, "You cannot do the Lord's will without the Lord's timing". He went on to explain that even though I know where the Lord wants me, he has me in Tallahassee for a reason. Each day that I pray, read, and soak in His presence, I am learning that I am developing skills and relationships that will help me once I am out doing the documentary work. Through reading the Psalms, He has been pointing out scripture after scripture that says to wait on the Lord.

"
Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD." - Psalm 27:14

"Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him." - Psalm 37: 4-7
