Party on the Moon.

This year City Church is taking over the Moon for its annual Christmas bash. It's going to take place on December the 11th. The festivities will commence at 6:30pm. There is going to be live music from Houston Deese. Come and enjoy their chart topping sound while cutting a rug. There will be food trucks available at the party and the bar will be open for your pleasure. It's $5 to get in and all proceeds are going to a clean water organization that provides clean water wells all around the world. It's a wonderful organization that City Church has been partners with for several years.

The reason that this edition for the City Speak is in regards to the Christmas party is because I believe that it is more than just a party. It's an opportunity for the gospel to be advanced. We as individuals have a chance to invite people that have never responded to or heard the gospel, to an event new friendships can be made. People at the party are going to make a few decisions will attending the bash. Some will decide to come to a Sunday service for the first time, for some it may feel time to join a community group because of all the friendly encounters at the party. Someone may eventually accept Christ because of this evening. It's more than just a party. It's a chance to connect with the local church. Bring the people that have denied invitations to a Sunday service. Maybe this will be the first time you have ever invited a new person to a City Church event. We're on a mission to reach and impact this city for the gospel. Please join City Church on this journey. Also, please don't forget about Christmas on The Moon earlier that morning!!! It will be a service that you will not want to miss.

(James is the Creative Director at City Church Tallahassee, and a member of the band Houston Deese.)
