::FIRST IMPRESSIONS TRAINING DAY

On Tuesday, July 19th at 7:00 pm, there will be a First Impressions Training Day and Barbecue at the warehouse. Food will be provided. You know, the last time I found myself writing this I was just starting out in Children's Ministry. I had no clue what I was doing, and I really had no clue what God was doing with me, either. I'd never worked for a church, let alone run an entire ministry before. All I know is that I still have no clue most days, and God is in complete control. Can I get a "Praise Him"? (That was for you, Lauren Murphy.)

So... it's been almost a year now of curriculum, crafts, volunteer recruitment, parent outreach, facilities coordinating, etc.  I find myself some days not always loving the day-by-day tasks, but I never question when Sunday roles around what the purpose of it all is.  God has chosen to use silly old me to equip our volunteers to teach His little ones about Jesus. Every week I see little signs that God is using this ministry to bear fruit for His kingdom. There's not much that gives me greater joy!
