This Sunday - Christmas On The Moon!

We will have our regular morning services at 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. at the warehouse, then we are packing up and heading to The Moon for one-of a-kind Christmas service at 8:00 p.m.!  Please make plans to join us for two completely different services in the morning and at night.  You won't want to miss out! Who will you bring?

Dean will also begin a new December series called "Naughty or Nice."  Join us for Part 1 of the series at 9:30 a.m. or 11:15 a.m., and don't miss Part 2 of the series at Christmas on the Moon at 8:00 p.m.

PARENTS: Childcare will be provided at The Moon.  Just once each year we ask that you consider altering your normal routine so that you can join us as our entire church family comes together for this special event.  Well Kids will be hosting a "Pajama Party" at The Moon and your children from 6 weeks through 5th grade are invited as they dress up for the fun and are ready for bed!

Well Said

dby James Parsons, Director of Excitement

This Sunday is Christmas on The Moon. It is going to be our best Christmas service yet. This Friday everyone needs to wear their red well shirt to work, class, the gym and anywhere else you may go. A total of nine-hundred shirts have left the building. How amazing would it be if we all wore are shirts on the same day? It is the best form of advertising because it invokes conversation. The Christmas party at Mint is going to be one for the ages. If you register by Sunday, you will get a free shimmy lesson from me!  Exciting right? Go to the website for more info about the party on December 8th.

Usually there is a challenge in the Well Said column, but I don't really have one. I do have some thoughts that I have been pondering lately. I tend to get so wrapped up in the holiday season, hopped up on hot chocolate, and giddy about bon-fires...that I almost forget about the gospel. I'm not saying we should go around shouting "he is the reason for the season".  He is the reason for every season. The gospel is why we want to pack the moon out because it changes lives. Christmas is a season when people that don't normally go to church are open to going. They need to hear the miracle of a boy born of a virgin in a manger that would end up taking our place and making it possible to have communion with God. Let's pack The Moon out this Sunday and really make an effort to bring our friends that need to hear the Gospel. It is the best gift they could ever receive.
