Well Said

dby Sarah Runge

The Real World (aka Life After College)

The real world is tough. To some people you matter a great deal
and to others you're wasting their time. The hustle and bustle of my everyday routine consisting of getting up early, working all day, living for the weekends and making sure I'm in bed at a reasonable time to do it all over again, can be exhausting. I always need time to sit back and reflect on how blessed I have been over the past years of my life and thankfully I can say The Well has attributed to it.

The motto the church has used from the beginning, The Everlasting
Truth in an Ever-Changing Culture, is so true and probably means more to me now than I realized. The Well helped me appreciate church in a way that I had never experienced before, it was real. The leadership that was exemplified was phenomenal and the messages always hit home to me. I also think that friends are one of those precious gifts God placed here for us to help better our lives.

The friends I made at The Well continue to be some of my best friends today and I know we will be friends forever. But as I continue to progress in my life I realize that the world around me is not slowing down but growing faster than ever. Sometimes I wish I could throw a penny into the Fountain of Youth and never grow up (even though I'm only 23). Some of you may be so busy and stressed now with papers, school work and other activities but trust me... it doesn't stop. Use this time you have now to enjoy life, appreciate everything God has done for you and give something back for Him. I encourage everyone to get involved; you will be so appreciative once you do! The impact is everlasting.

For with God nothing shall be impossible. -Luke 1:37
