This Sunday is an exciting day in the life of The Well as we launch
our 11:05 a.m. worship service. We are starting a morning service for one
reason and one reason only...
to reach more people. Our
prayer is that adding a second worship service option at The Well will
provide a greater opportunity for all of us to invite and bring our
friends to Church.
The 11:05 a.m. worship service is also going to place our staff and
volunteers in a whole new routine for Sundays. Our first wave of set-up
volunteers will be arriving at Godby High School at 7:30 a.m. to get
things cranked up. Please pray for this team as they sacrifice valuable
sleep time in order to serve the Lord at The Well. They could use some
help, so please get in touch with us if you are willing. The morning
service will also serve as our main programming time for the Well Kids
ministry in The Ark. While we will have childcare at 5:30 p.m., the
11:05 a.m. service will be the actual children's emphasis for The Well.
Families are certainly welcomed at 5:30 p.m. We are very thankful for our
Well Kids team. They are doing a wonderful job leading our kids to an
everlasting truth in an ever-changing culture.
Our Two Year Anniversary service was one of thanksgiving,
reflection, vision, and celebration. Now it is time to move full speed
ahead in reaching our friends for Christ. Who do you see on a regular
basis, but have never invited to Church? Who would love the chance to
have lunch with you if asked? Who has God placed right in front of you
that needs to hear the Gospel? Please live the vision of our Church and
follow the example of Christ by connecting with those who do not know
Him.
The 11:05 a.m. worship service also places even a greater financial burden upon The Well. Please take ownership of YOUR Church
and be a generous with your giving. While our economy is in troublesome
times, the work of our local Church does not slow down. We need the
people of The Well to step up to the plate and do their part in
contributing to The Well. We are grateful for those of you who do so
faithfully. We simply need everyone to share in this responsibility.

this Sunday. See you at 11:05 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.! Have you decided what
