The Well is a church that is committed to connecting with the unchurched community of Tallahassee. It is the desire of the Well to create an atmosphere that is engaging to this generation in the twenty-first century. While the culture of Tallahassee is always changing, we believe that the message of Jesus Christ is as relevant today as it was 2,000 years ago. The Well is a church that will speak an everlasting truth in an ever-changing culture.

"For the single most important institution shaping Western culture
is the university. It is at the university that our future political
leaders, our journalists, our teachers, our business executives, our
lawyers, our artists, will be trained. It is at the university that
they will formulate or, more likely, simply absorb the worldview that
will shape their lives. And since these are the opinion-makers and
leaders who shape our culture, our worldview that they imbibe at the
university will be the one that shapes our culture. If the Christian
worldview can be restored to a place of prominence and respect at the
university, it will have a leavening effect throughout society. If we
change the university, we change our culture through those who shape
culture." (Moreland & Craig)

Happy Thanksgiving from The Well!
|
WELL SAID
"Happy Thanksgiving" by Dean Inserra
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the Well family. As we celebrate our second Thanksgiving as a Church I wanted to share with you some Bible verses I am very thankful for. While I truly thank God for my family, health, and the many things I need and want, what all of us have to be the most thankful for is the promises we have in God's Word.
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8).
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come." (2Corinthians 5:17).
"As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us." (Psalm 103:12).
"Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." (John 4:13-14)
"O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption." (Pslam 130:7)
Also....
I am thankful for Krissie and Tommy...my favorites.
I am also thankful for our staff at the Well. Matthew Robinson, Matt Long, and Sarah Graves...I thank God for those three.
I am thankful for Robert Mayo. I am also thankful my entire family is part of the Well.
I am thankful for:
Jenny Lou Rosen!
The Well Kids Staff and Tallahassee's best band. The Finance Team. The Leadership Team.
Stubblefield's, Casons, Peavy's, Thompson's, Merritt's.
The Wednesday Nights Crew at Marty and Amy's. Love that group.
Lauren Rocco and her greeting team. The back row production team on Sunday nights.
Scott Lamar and Matt Folsom.
The man who lives the Well...James Parsons.
Natalie Mitchell.
Thanks for Jovanna Gomez, Josh Fruit, Lawton Graves, Jason Borger, Cari Bradley.
The new freshmen!
My deadly viper guys. Love our chats.
Higgies, Stuys, Beach Club, Grims, PC Crew.
Karsyn, Dominic, Noemie, Caleb, Savannah. We miss Riley.
The folks that come early and stay late.
Amazing Community Group Leaders: Krissie, Caryn, Sarah, Grace, Marty, Dad, Jeff, Jen, Lindsey Nay, Aaron, Bennett, Matt Long and Dean B.
For all those who attend a community group. That is huge.
Kaitlyn and everyone who has hosted a college dinner.
For 16, Coach Clint Mayo and all his work.
I am thankful for the unsung heroes of Sunday Night: Alex Scott, Kafui, Donnie, Josh Houge.
I am thankful for the many who give their time, pray for us, worship with us, and call the Well their home. Every single person plays an important role in what God has called us to do. Even simply showing up on Sunday nights make a huge impact on the overall atmosphere of our Church.
I thank God for the Well....for His hand on our Church, for the people who make it what it is.
