Starfish EARLY ALERT Beta Program in Full Swing
General Availability Scheduled for Early December 2008

interest from a wide variety of schools all over the country, Starfish Retention Solutions has launched
a formal Beta program for Starfish EARLY ALERT™. The program includes the following institutions:

"In the state of Arkansas, the legislature once again looks at making major changes to the funding formula for higher education. These changes would reward retention and graduation rates, not how many students are in the classrooms," said Terry Patterson, director of distance learning, South Arkansas Community College. "I see Starfish EARLY ALERT as a major plus to increasing (and keeping) anyone's enrollment up and most importantly helping change and assist the educational lives of our students. We are excited to be part of the Beta program."

Starfish Welcomes New Team Members
CTO and VP, Marketing & Operations Appointed
|
 Joining the Starfish team are John Farley as chief technology officer and John Plunkett as vice president, marketing & operations. Farley will provide technical leadership and oversight of Starfish's software development, system operations, and information technology activities. Plunkett will oversee operations management, as well as brand and identity development, lead generation, marketing communications, public relations, customer marketing activities, events, Web marketing and industry analyst relations.
