Greetings!

We hope all the mothers out there had a wonderful Mother's Day. It was so nice to be able to take a break and get lot's of special attention.

This month is a very busy month for many with end of school and other activities. We want you to know that we are staying busy on the farm with the anticipation of the coming of our new crops, preparing the opening of Gwinnett.LocallyGrown.net, many summer festivities like our workshops, summer camps, and much more. There's been a little bit of a transition with the farmer's market as some of our vendors are going back to their summer market booths, and the increase of choices of farmer's markets to visit. It's wonderful to see many cities host Farmer's Market to give everyone the opportunity to buy locally and fresh. .

The feedback in our surveys has told us that you want locally grown food, choices and to support local farmer's; we hope that you will find the answer to all of that  through Gwinnett.LocallyGrown.net.

Congratulations to the Logan family, who are the raffle winners for their choice of a Rancho Alegre Birthday Party or Farm Camp!

Just a couple reminders:

-The deadline to order organic produce boxes is TODAY, May 11th.
-The deadline to order grains, seeds, beans and more from Grains-N-More is THIS Friday, May 14th

Fresh wishes,
Pilar Quintero, Owner

We thank everyone who has participated in our buyer's club survey. We feel much of the feedback from the surveys will be addressed through gwinnett.locallygrown.net. This is an online farmer's market system that emulates many aspects of the traditional farmer's market booths in which the customers are buying directly from the grower at prices set by the grower. This will give the customer more choice and diversity of locally grown goods. It is the grower who will upload his/her inventory, supply photos of the items, set pricing, and provide all content pertaining to their products. The customers can browse everthing that is available from the different growers and then choose exactly what to buy, how much, and from which grower to buy. The system is fantastic!  You will have contact with local farmers and will know that you are supporting them.

To become a member, simply create an account on gwinnett.locallygrown.net.  To become a grower, create an account, and then go to the "Our Growers" page to register yourself as a grower.
