 We hope you had a great 4th July weekend with friends and family! As usual, we have been busy on the farm working, cultivating the land and having so much fun with our summer camps! It's not too late to sign up for the farm camps! Due to the huge success, we are extending this experience to the last three weeks in July. Click here for more information. Now is as good a time as any to get fit and healthy. We have a great new partnership with a local fitness instructor. Combining the nature of the farm, and the experience of the trainer, this makes for a perfect mix for a Boot Camp! To learn more, click here. Boot Camp!
For a fun, active way to start the morning, consider our new boot camps!
Rancho Alegre Farm has teamed up with Time4results, to hold a boot camp Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. Cost is only $10 and is open to anyone.
The boot camp will be held on the grounds at the farm and there is nothing better than working out in the great outdoors!

National Day of Action

Slow Food USA (www.slowfoodusa.org) has launched
a national campaign to tell Congress
to provide
real food and increased $$ for more than 30 million children participating in
the National School Lunch Program ( part of the Child Nutrition Act that
Congress will reauthorize in Fall, 2009) The event will be held at Rancho Alegre Farm, Monday, September 7th @ 12
Noon. The best news is, it's Free! Bring healthy
food, your own plates, cups, utensils to reduce waste.
Invite your family,
friends, co-workers and classmates to share good food and help bring awareness to the need for
increased funding for the School Lunch Program.
